absentify automatically calculates remaining vacation days, carry-over from the previous year, and pro-rated entitlements (for example on join or leave) based on the employee data on file. Recorded sick leave is offset automatically so those days are not deducted from previously planned vacation.

Yes, we offer a permanently free version of absentify that already includes all core features for small teams. As your company grows or you need advanced features such as automatic out-of-office sync, you can upgrade.
Yes, in absentify you can define individual working schedules for each team member (for example a 20-hour week across 3 days). The system then deducts vacation only for the days the employee would actually have worked according to the schedule.
Yes, switching is straightforward. We provide an import feature so you can transfer existing vacation entitlements and days already taken into absentify quickly and start with up-to-date data right away.
You can define as many absence types as you need, from annual leave and sickness to home office, training, and sabbaticals. For each type you can decide whether it should count against the vacation allowance.
As soon as an employee submits a request, the assigned manager is notified automatically by email or Teams. Approval takes a single click in the app. The employee is informed immediately and the calendar updates automatically.
Because absentify is a native Microsoft 365 app, your data stays within the secured Microsoft cloud. We use your company’s existing security standards (such as multi-factor authentication). Our software is also fully GDPR-compliant.
