absentify works exclusively with sub-processors within the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom. This ensures that all data processing complies with GDPR and UK GDPR requirements and meets the highest security and data protection standards. Below is a list of our approved sub-processors:

Approved Sub-Processors

Microsoft Azure Address: North Europe (Ireland) / paired EU region Purpose: Application hosting, emails, and database; optional in-product AI features (only when enabled by the customer); AI-assisted support ticket classification, summarization, and draft reply suggestions

Sendinblue GmbH Address: Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany Purpose: Email newsletter and marketing

Paddle.com Market Ltd. Address: 18-29 Mora Street, Judd House, EC1V 8BT, London, UK Purpose: Payment and contract processing Note: Only applicable if you have a subscription. UK is covered by an EU adequacy decision.

Crisp IM S.A.S. Address: 2 Boulevard de Launay, 44100 Nantes, France Purpose: Helpdesk and customer support

PostHog, Inc. (EU Cloud) Address: Frankfurt am Main, Germany Purpose: Product and usage analytics Note: PostHog operates a dedicated EU data center in Frankfurt am Main. This data center ensures that all customer data is stored and processed within the European Union.

Frill.co (Enterprise) Location: European Union Purpose: Product feedback and roadmap management Note: We use the Enterprise version with dedicated EU data hosting.
