The Requests history section provides a complete overview of a user’s absence requests — including approved, pending, declined, and canceled requests. This user-specific view is particularly helpful for HR admins to track a person’s absence history — for example, to follow up on requests, approve them on behalf of others, or review details.

How to access the request history

Navigate to Settings → Users → [Select user] → Request history.
Here you’ll find a complete overview of all absence requests submitted by the selected user — including all related details and available actions.

How the overview works

Leave requests are listed chronologically and organized into multiple tabs:
  • All – shows all absence requests for the selected user
  • Approved – only approved requests
  • Pending – requests waiting for approval
  • Declined – rejected requests
  • Canceled – requests that were withdrawn either by the user or by another user with the appropriate permissions
You can switch between the tabs to filter the view based on request status. By clicking on any request, you will see the full details of that absence request. Depending on the current leave request status, you may also have the option to:
  • Approve or decline pending requests (even on behalf of another user)
  • Delete approved or pending requests
  • View who approved the request, if it was subject to the approval process

Request details

Each entry in the request history includes the following information:
  • Leave type (e.g. Vacation)
  • Absence period (including start and end date and time)
  • Status (Approved, Pending, Declined, or Canceled)
  • Deduction from allowance (if applicable)
  • Reason (if provided)
  • Request creation date and time
  • Created by
For canceled requests, you’ll also see the cancellation reason (if provided) and the user who canceled the request.
The Request history view only shows requests for the selected user. If you’re looking for absence data across the company or per department, you can use the export feature.
For more information, see the guide: Export leave data. The export contains broader leave data — either company-wide or department-specific.
