absentify provides a SharePoint Add-in that enables you to embed absence management tools and overviews directly into SharePoint pages. The integration leverages Single Sign-On (SSO) for a seamless user experience and offers the same features as the Microsoft Teams app.

The absentify SharePoint Add-in is available on Microsoft AppSource.

Key features

  • Team overview as a Web Part: Display absences for a team or department directly on a SharePoint page.
  • Interactive navigation: Users can navigate between weeks and months to view past and future absences.
  • Create absence requests: Employees can submit new absence requests directly from the Web Part.
  • Department-based configuration: Set a default department to display in the Web Part. Users will only see data they are authorized to access.
  • User permissions and access: The view automatically adjusts based on the user’s permissions. If a user cannot access the default department, they are redirected to their personal or permitted view.
