absentify’s deep integration with Microsoft 365 enables seamless deployment across your organization. By pre-installing the app in Microsoft Teams and Outlook, you ensure employees have immediate access to absence management features without the need for manual installation or setup. This saves significant time compared to other absence management tools that lack similar integration capabilities.

Why choose automated deployment with absentify?

Deploying absentify through Microsoft 365 offers the following advantages:

  • Time-saving deployment: Pre-installing the app eliminates the need for employees to manually download and configure the tool, saving hours of IT and HR support time.
  • Enhanced user adoption: absentify appears directly in Teams and Outlook, ensuring employees can access it where they already work, increasing adoption rates.
  • Integrated workflows: Unlike standalone absence management tools, absentify integrates directly into Microsoft 365, enabling users to manage absences while collaborating in Teams or managing schedules in Outlook.
  • Efficient updates: Any changes or updates to the absentify app are automatically reflected in your Microsoft environment, reducing maintenance effort.

Compared to other absence management tools that lack Microsoft 365 integration, absentify’s seamless deployment and usage within Teams and Outlook can save hours of manual setup and streamline your workflow.

Deploying absentify in Outlook

absentify is also available as an add-in for Outlook, enabling users to manage absences directly within their email interface. This integration enhances ease of use and accessibility for employees.

Deployment in Outlook may require users to restart their Outlook application to see the new add-in.

Browser-based access without Microsoft 365 licenses

If employees do not have access to Microsoft Teams or Outlook, absentify can still be accessed through the browser at app.absentify.com. Users can be created in the Microsoft admin portal without assigning licenses.

Keep in mind that employees without an Outlook license will not receive email notifications or Teams Bot alerts. They will need to manually log in to absentify to view updates or manage their absences.

The absentify advantage in deployment

With absentify’s integration into Microsoft 365, your organization can roll out a comprehensive absence management solution with minimal effort, providing:

  • Time savings for IT and HR teams: Centralized deployment reduces the overhead of manual setups for individual employees.
  • Streamlined employee experience: Users access absentify within the tools they already use daily, improving engagement and ease of use.
  • Consistency across platforms: Whether in Teams, Outlook, or the browser, absentify provides a unified absence management experience.

By leveraging automated deployment, absentify helps your organization save time, boost efficiency, and offer a superior experience compared to non-integrated tools.
