Identify your role in absentify
Learn how to determine your role within the absentify application.
To make the most of absentify, it’s helpful to understand which role you have within the application. Currently, there’s no dedicated field displaying your role, but you can easily identify it by looking at the top navigation bar after logging in. Here’s a quick guide:
Step 1: Log in to absentify
After logging into absentify, navigate to the top navigation bar. Your role is indicated by the available menu options.
Step 2: Check the menu options
Depending on the options displayed in the top navigation bar, you can identify your role as follows:
-
Employee: If you see Overview and My calendar only, you have a Employee role. This role is for team members who manage their own absences and submit requests.
-
Manager: If you see Overview, My calendar, and Insights, you have a Manager role. This role allows you to manage absence requests and oversee team schedules.
-
HR admin or Administrator: If you see Overview, My calendar, Insights, and Settings, then you are an HR admin or Administrator. This role gives you access to configure absentify settings, manage company-wide absence policies, and view overall absence data.
If you have further questions about your role or access level, please contact your HR administrator.
By identifying your role, you can access the relevant section in this documentation to get detailed guidance tailored to your responsibilities within absentify.
