# Microsoft permissions

> Find absentify Microsoft permission guides and revoke work location access in Entra ID after you turn the sync off in Settings.

absentify uses separate Microsoft Entra ID apps for calendar, mailbox, groups, Shifts, and work location. Open the guide for the permission you need.

Workspace administrators turn these features on and off under **Settings > Microsoft**.

## Work location

After you turn **Microsoft work location sync** off in **Settings > Microsoft**, revoke the Entra ID consent as well.

1. Sign in to the [Microsoft Entra admin center](https://entra.microsoft.com) with a Microsoft 365 administrator account.
2. Go to Identity > Applications > Enterprise applications.
3. Open the absentify Work Location app (App ID: `8b0be019-bc8c-43c0-ac17-5114e604a9f8`).
4. In Permissions, revoke `Calendars.ReadWrite` and `offline_access`, or delete the app's service principal.

Turning the sync off in absentify resets Remote days that absentify set. Revoking in Entra ID stops the absentify Work Location app from writing work location again.
